Sending flowers to Ararat
Ararat is the seat of Ararat Rural City, with East Grampians Health Service and the Hopkins Correctional Centre among its largest employers.
Order before 2pm on a weekday and your bouquet is arranged by an expert florist in our network and hand-delivered in Ararat that same day — to homes, workplaces, the hospital, aged care residences and funeral services across Ararat and its district.
Sending somewhere else in the Grampians region? We deliver to Stawell, Horsham and Castlemaine as well, each with its own florist arranging and delivering on the day, at the same flat $9.90. If you're sending to a property outside town, add directions and a mobile number at checkout.
Bourkes Florist is named after Bourkes Florist Gift and Garden Centre, the shop Harold Bourke opened in Armidale, NSW, in 1978. His grandson Harry relaunched the name online in 2023. We don’t keep a shopfront in Ararat: an expert florist from our nationwide network arranges your flowers fresh on the day and hand-delivers them, which is how a bouquet ordered from interstate still arrives looking like it was made down the road.

Do you deliver flowers to Ararat?
Yes — fresh, hand-arranged flowers delivered in Ararat and across Grampians region six days a week. Bourkes is an online florist: we don’t run a shopfront in Ararat, so your order is arranged and hand-delivered by an expert florist from our nationwide network.
Can I get same-day flower delivery in Ararat?
Order before 2pm on a weekday (10am Saturdays) and your flowers arrive in Ararat that same day. Order after the cut-off and they go on the next working day — you’ll see the delivery date before you pay.
How much is flower delivery to Ararat?
A flat $9.90 to Ararat. Being regional costs you nothing extra — there is no distance or country surcharge, and every price on the site includes GST.
Do you deliver to every address around Ararat?
Almost — Ararat itself and most of the surrounding district are covered, but a postcode out here can span a very large area and a handful of outlying localities sit beyond the delivery network. Put the recipient's postcode and suburb into the checker above, or add them at checkout, and we'll confirm before you pay.
Can you deliver flowers to the hospital in Ararat?
Yes. We deliver to East Grampians Health Service. Add the ward and the patient’s full name at checkout. Some wards, such as intensive care, don’t accept flowers, so check with the ward first if you’re unsure.
Can you deliver to properties outside Ararat?
Usually yes — Grampians region is well covered, including properties out of town. If the address is remote or hard to find, add directions and a mobile number in the notes at checkout so the florist can reach the recipient.
Can you deliver flowers for a funeral or to a family home in Ararat?
Yes, and it’s one of the most common things we’re asked for. Add the service time and the venue or funeral home at checkout — sympathy tributes are timed to arrive before the service, and flowers to the family home can go any day that suits.
Do you deliver to other towns in the Grampians region?
Yes — we deliver to Stawell, Horsham, Castlemaine and most towns across Australia. Each town is served by its own florist in our network, so an order to any of them is arranged and hand-delivered there on the day, not driven over from Ararat. If you're unsure about a particular address, check the postcode above and we'll confirm before you pay.
